Scubaspa Zen is a 53-metre luxury Phinisi combining Indonesia’s extraordinary diving with the comfort, service and wellness experience associated with the Scubaspa fleet. Introduced in 2020, the vessel offers sophisticated expeditions for a maximum of just 20 guests, supported by an attentive crew of 24.
Nine spacious, air-conditioned suites provide elegant private accommodation throughout the journey. Each features a double or twin-bed arrangement and a private ensuite bathroom. Six Sea Star Suites are located below deck, while the main deck accommodates the Dolphin Suite, Cowrie Suite and impressive Owner’s Manta Suite. Family accommodation is available, making Zen suitable for couples, friends and families travelling together.
One of Zen’s most distinctive features is her separate 21-metre diving boat, designed in the style of a Maldivian dhoni. Diving equipment, compressors and daily operations remain away from the main vessel, preserving a peaceful atmosphere onboard while providing divers with a spacious and comfortable platform for up to four dives per day.
Dining takes place in the elegant alfresco restaurant on the main deck. Breakfast is served buffet-style, while lunch and dinner feature carefully prepared à la carte menus, complemented by special occasions such as outdoor barbecues. Dietary requirements can be accommodated, and private dining arrangements are also available for guests seeking a more personal experience.
The well-stocked Zen Bar offers cocktails, spirits, beers and an extensive wine selection to accompany meals or relaxed evenings onboard. At the stern, the secluded spa provides treatments for individuals and couples, including therapies created specifically to support recovery and relaxation after diving. Morning yoga sessions, wellness packages and guided land excursions add further variety to each journey.
Seasonal itineraries explore Indonesia’s most celebrated and remote marine regions, including Raja Ampat, Komodo National Park, the Banda Sea and the Forgotten Islands.
