Completely renovated in 2019, M/Y Sunlight is a 34-metre liveaboard offering year-round access to the wrecks, reefs and remote dive sites of the Red Sea. Accommodating up to 20 guests in ten practical and comfortable cabins, she is an inviting choice for divers who value varied itineraries and a relaxed atmosphere onboard.
Each cabin offers a combination of single and double beds, individually controlled air conditioning and a private ensuite bathroom. Between dives, guests can retreat to the air-conditioned indoor saloon, settle into the comfortable sofas or enjoy meals together in the dining area. A convenient drinks station is also available throughout the day.
The upper deck provides plenty of space to enjoy life at sea, with a large, partially shaded sunbathing area and an open-air lounge. It is an ideal setting for relaxing in the sunshine, enjoying the sea breeze or exchanging stories with fellow divers at the end of the day.
A spacious dive deck at the stern keeps daily operations organised and comfortable. It features equipment storage, rinse tanks and a generous platform for easy entry into the water or boarding one of the vessel’s two Zodiacs.
Divers can choose between three distinctive itineraries. The North Route combines spectacular reefs at Ras Mohammed and the Straits of Tiran with legendary wrecks such as the SS Thistlegorm, Rosalie Moller and Carnatic. Southern itineraries visit the Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone, where current-swept reefs create exhilarating drift dives and opportunities for encounters with sharks and other pelagic species.
For those wishing to venture farther, the Deep South Route explores the reefs of St John’s, Rocky Island, Zabargad and Elphinstone. Remote locations, dramatic underwater scenery and healthy marine life make this a rewarding journey for more adventurous divers.
